INTERNAL POWER IN MARTIAL ARTS, August 2-3, 2008

Baji association will organize a weekend seminar on internal power, how to train it and how to apply it for combat purposes. It will contain both individual exercises as well as pair training with a suitable amount of theory to support the training. The course is suitable for all those interested in internal power and martial arts, regardless of their martial arts background.

Place: Old school building at Kaivosmäentie 9, Koski asema, Perniö.

Time: August 2-3, 2008.
We shall meet at the school building on Saturday, August 2 at 10:00. Training will begin after accomodation arrangements are complete.

Program:

Sat Aug 2: Teaching and training until 18:00 with a one-hour lunch break. In the evening there will be cooking, sauna and free time. There is a well-equipped industrial kitchen at the school. Bring your own food and drinks. We can also organize some group cooking for e.g. chinese dumplings.

Sun Aug 3: Teaching 9-11 and 12-16, lunch break between the sessions.

Weather permitting, we shall practice outdoors, otherwise we will be in the school gym. Please be prepared for both options.

Please present a receipt of the payment at the seminar. Baji association only organizes teaching for its members. The membership fee for one year is included in the course price. Membership information will be collected at the seminar.

Accomodation: In the school building. There is a limited number of beds available, please bring your own sheets or sleeping bag.

The registration is binding. Please also inform Ville if you are coming by car and are willing to transport other attendees and the time and place of departure.
NOTE: The seminar will only be organized if a sufficient number of registrations (10) is received before the deadline. Confirmation of the seminar will appear on the association web page after the deadline so please check before paying.

How to get there?
By bus: Bus 280, Helsinki-Kasnäs, Saturday at 7:15 from Helsinki bus station, platform 26. Get off the bus at "Koski th.", approx. 9:40.

There is a ten-minute walk to the school. From the bus stop, start heading back to where the bus came from, turn right to Koski. Continue until you see the school and Kaivosmäentie on your right.

The return bus leaves from the same stop (Koski th) on Sunday at 16:15 and arrives in Helsinki at 18:25.

By car: One possibility from Helsinki: Take Länsiväylä (Helsinki-Hanko), after Inkoo turn right towards Salo (Inkoo-Salo), continue straight approx. 40 km. Turn left after Toija to Perniö and Kaukuri. Continue straight approx. 16 km and turn left to Koski (after this there will be Muurala to the right, at this point you've missed it). Drive straight approx. 1 km and you will see the school building on the hill on your right. Turn right to Kaivosmäentie.

Car share: a list of those coming by car will be collected and published about one week before the seminar so that those who need and offer transportation can agree.
